This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are available for the private administrative assistance services purchased through apply-assist.ca, operated by Apliko Consulting OÜ. Please read it together with our Terms and Conditions.
Your statutory rights come first
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits, excludes, or overrides any mandatory consumer protection or cancellation rights you may have under the consumer protection legislation of your province or territory of residence within Canada. Where that legislation grants you greater rights than those described below, those statutory rights apply.
Refund eligibility
Whether a refund is available, and its amount, depends on the status of your service at the time we receive your request and on the work already carried out.
Full refund. You are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid if you request cancellation before our team has begun processing your application. Because our internal processing typically begins within 1 to 3 business days of your purchase, we recommend that you contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel.
Partial refund. If our team has already begun processing your application but the service has not been completed, you may be eligible for a partial refund. The amount will reflect the portion of the administrative work already performed and the specific circumstances of your request.
After completion. Once our administrative service has been fully performed, refunds are generally not available, as the service you purchased has been delivered. This does not affect any statutory right to a remedy you may have under the consumer protection legislation of your province or territory of residence, which continues to apply.
How “processing” is determined
From the moment you submit your application through our Website, we may begin preparing and processing it within the timeframe described above. If we need one or more additional documents to process your application, we will notify you, either directly or through the relevant government authority. Processing of your application may begin even if a requested document is still outstanding; however, the service will not be considered complete until all required supporting documents have been received and the application has been submitted.
Amounts and currency
The prices for our services are shown as final amounts that include applicable Canadian GST/HST. Any refund, whether full or partial, is calculated on the amount actually paid by you, including the proportionate share of GST/HST included in that amount.
Refund processing time
We will process refund requests within 15 business days of receiving your refund request. Once a refund has been issued, please allow an additional 5 to 15 days for the amount to appear on your bank or card statement, depending on your bank or card provider.
In accordance with the rules of our payment processor, refunds can only be issued to the same payment method used for the original purchase.
How to request a refund
To request a refund, email us at info@apply-assist.ca and include the following information:
- Full name of the applicant
- Order ID
- Email address used in the application form
- Reason for the refund request (required)
We may contact you to verify the request or to ask for additional information needed to assess it.
